As my advisor, how often will you come and see me?

As a Financial Advisor, I am obligated to meet with you once a year to review all your policies. However, if something in your life changes and you need to make the changes to your financial plan, then we can sit down and review. Remember I am here to help you with your financial plan, whatever that means.

Is my personal information safe with you?

The Protectionof Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPI Act) supports section 14 ofthe Bill of Rights in the Constitution which focuses on the right to privacy. The POPI Act is used to regulate the processing of personal information and prevent the negligent disclosure of personal information.

What I love most about my job is being able to make talking about money and finance seem less ‘scary’. I love giving people a sense of comfort and reassurance that comes with knowing they have a plan in place

What companies are you affliated with?

I am employed by Liberty and operate under the Eq-Fin banner. Eq-Fin is an affliate company to Liberty focused on a more entrepreneurial approach to doing business.

How are you regulated?

All financial products and service providers as well as market infrastructures must be licensed as per the FSR act.

How long do FSPs have to keep records for?

All records relating to the rendering of a financial service must be kept or a period of five years after termination, to the knowledge of the FSP, of the product concerned or, in any other case, five years after the rendering of the financial service.
